| Weather is cooler in
the desert in early Fall. Another wonderful trip was made to visit
Willow and her friend Iris. It's always fun to get away and spend
time with good family and friends!! This
trip, instead of seeing the desert's treasures, we braved the
mountains and headed up to Kitt Peak National Observatory. Imagine
going up from the desert floor up to 7,000' ... in less than a 12
miles drive. I'm not one for roads with minimal safety railing, so I
was happy to let Willow drive!

Jonathon turned 4 years old!
Neil Goff, who was my steady date through our junior and senior
years of high school, died of pancreatic cancer at 52 years of age. Having known him
since I was 16, this was a long term friend I am going to miss. We
went to two Junior Proms, two Senior Balls and our 25th reunions
together!
